The Challenge
Stockley Constructions builds luxury custom homes, extensions and knockdown rebuilds across Wagga Wagga and the Riverina, with marble kitchens, resort-style alfresco areas and strong architectural lines. The Stockley Constructions WordPress website had to present that work with the same care that goes into each home.
Luxury builders win on presentation and proof. Prospective clients are planning one of the largest investments of their lives, and they judge a builder by the quality of finished projects, the clarity of the process and how it feels to deal with the business.
The site needed to showcase projects with editorial-quality storytelling, offer a downloadable booklet as lead capture for high-intent prospects, explain the build process step by step, and feel as considered as a Stockley home itself, without becoming slow or cluttered.
The Solution
I built the site on WordPress with rich project features and restrained, premium design. The menu is simple: About, New Custom Homes, Extensions and Renovations, Knockdown and Rebuild, Projects and Contact.
The homepage opens with Luxury Builds, Tailored Renovations and Stress-Free Rebuilds, followed by Contact Us Today and Download Booklet buttons. A featured new project is presented like a magazine feature, describing the marble kitchen, resort-style alfresco with pool and custom entertainment retreat, with a link to the full project page.
Each project, from Gelston Park and Blamey Street to Hayes Street Junee, has its own page. A five-step process explains the journey from phone enquiry and site meeting to the job booklet, build and handover.
The booklet download funnel captures name, email and phone through a lead capture form with spam protection, giving Brad a list of serious prospects. I maintain it end to end, so a high-value first impression is never undermined by a broken page.
A Riverina luxury home builder and the clients it attracts
Stockley Constructions is led by builder Brad Stockley and services Wagga Wagga and surrounding Riverina areas. The business covers new custom homes, extensions and renovations, and knockdown rebuilds, with a portfolio that includes contemporary statement homes and carefully extended family houses.
Its clients are typically families and professionals planning a high-value build. They spend time researching, compare several builders and want to feel confident about quality, communication and process before they commit.
The website therefore has two jobs: inspire with finished projects and reassure with a clear, personal process. The tone is calm and confident, letting the homes speak while making it easy to take the next step.
Editorial project features on the Stockley Constructions WordPress website
Projects are the strongest sales tool a builder has, so each one is treated like a magazine story rather than a photo dump.
- Featured project: a homepage spotlight describing the design, materials and lifestyle features of the latest build.
- Project pages: individual pages for builds such as Gelston Park, Blamey Street, Adams Ave, Hakea Place, Connorton Street, Hayes Street Junee and Balmoral.
- Service pages: New Custom Homes, Extensions and Renovations, and Knockdown and Rebuild, each with examples and answers to common questions.
Large photography, generous spacing and short descriptive copy keep the focus on craftsmanship. An Instagram feed adds work-in-progress posts, from slab prep to handover celebrations.
Booklet download and lead capture for high-intent prospects
Not every visitor is ready to call a builder, but many are happy to download a booklet. The Download Booklet button appears in the hero and again lower on the page, opening a short form for name, email and phone with spam protection.
That turns early-stage interest into a contact Brad can follow up personally, and it qualifies leads, because people who download are usually planning seriously.
A separate contact form asks for postcode, the suburb they want to build in and a description of the project, helping the team prioritise enquiries in their service area. A Client Application Form link in the header gives prospects who are further along a direct next step.
A clear five-step build process that builds trust
Big projects feel less daunting when the process is visible. The homepage sets out Stockley's approach in five steps: a phone call enquiry, an in-person meeting to explore ideas and assess the site, a detailed job booklet capturing requirements and specifications, the build itself with regular updates, and the final handover.
Each step is short and written in plain language, so prospective clients understand what happens and when.
Paired with the project features, this section answers the two biggest questions luxury clients have: can this builder deliver the quality I want, and will the experience be well managed. Keeping image-heavy pages quick also matters, which I cover in my guide to Core Web Vitals.
End-to-end maintenance for a premium builder's website
When a prospect is weighing up a major build, a broken page or failed form sends the wrong message. I maintain Stockley's site end to end: WordPress and plugin updates, 24/7 uptime monitoring, security hardening, scheduled backups and regular checks of the booklet and contact forms.
The results row shows the outcome: a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents and every page loading clean. New projects are added using the same feature layout, so the portfolio stays consistent.
