The Challenge
Robotic pool cleaner owners usually know exactly which Dolphin model they have, and they want the right part fast. The Robotics Repair WooCommerce store had to make that easy for a Sydney business that sells, services and repairs robotic pool cleaners and supplies genuine spare parts for Maytronics Dolphin, Zodiac and Hayward machines.
Parts like tune-up kits, brushes and floating cables are model-specific, across the S50 and S200, the S150 through S400 range and the X30, X40 and DB2. A customer who orders the wrong cable length or the wrong kit ends up with a return and a dirty pool, so the catalogue had to be organised by compatibility, not just by product type.
The store also had to serve very different customers: DIY owners buying parts online, people who need a repair booked, commercial pool operators and trade buyers.
The Solution
I built the store on WordPress with Breakdance and WooCommerce, with a model-mapped product structure at its core. Product names carry the part, the specification and the compatible models, such as a 17 metre, 2 pin swivel cable for the Dolphin S200 or a genuine tune-up kit with brushes for the X30, X40 and DB2. A header search lets customers look up parts by part number or by model.
The homepage surfaces best-selling products with clear sale pricing and add-to-cart buttons, then explains the repair service and why Sydney pool owners choose the team. Separate paths for New Robots, Spare Parts, Service and Repair and Commercial keep each customer type on track, while product manual downloads, a news section and customer accounts with a wishlist support repeat buyers.
I maintain the store continuously, with a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents and 24/7 monitoring.
Model-mapped spare parts for Maytronics Dolphin owners
The heart of the Robotics Repair WooCommerce store is how spare parts are organised. Maytronics Dolphin parts are not interchangeable across models, so every product is named with the part, its key specification and the models it fits. A cable listing states its length, pin count, whether it has a swivel and the model it suits, and tune-up kits list the exact robots they are made for.
That naming convention does three jobs. It reduces wrong orders and returns, it lets the store search match model numbers like S200 or X40, and it gives Google precise product titles that match how owners search. The header search box invites customers to search by part number or by model, which is how people with a broken robot actually think about the problem.
Sales, repairs and commercial paths in one Sydney store
Robotics Repair is a workshop as well as a shop, and the site reflects both. The top navigation splits into Robot Sales, Repairs, Spare Parts, FAQ and Contact, and the hero repeats four clear entry points: New Robots, Spare Parts, Service and Repair, and Commercial.
DIY buyers can go straight to the catalogue and checkout, while owners whose robot has stopped working can read about the repair service and get in touch instead. A dedicated commercial section serves operators of larger pools, and a trade page supports industry buyers. The homepage copy explains the Sydney-based team's experience with robotic pool cleaner repairs, servicing, sales and genuine spare parts for Maytronics Dolphin, Zodiac and Hayward, so every visitor understands the full offer before choosing a path.
Best sellers, product pages and checkout built for conversion
Many visitors arrive knowing what they want, so the homepage puts best-selling products right under the hero. Each card shows the product image, name and price, with sale pricing clearly marked against the original price, and an add-to-cart button that works without opening the product page.
Behind that, WooCommerce handles the cart, customer accounts and a wishlist, so trade customers and repeat buyers can find their usual parts quickly. A Google review panel near the middle of the page reinforces trust at the point where people are deciding whether to buy, and product manuals for Hayward, Zodiac and Maytronics robots are available to download. That makes the site useful even after the sale, which keeps owners coming back for their next tune-up kit.
Technical SEO and content for robotic pool cleaner searches
Search is where most new customers start, so the store is built to rank for both product and service terms. The page title, Robotic Pool Cleaners Sydney, Sales, Repairs and Service, and its meta description target the core searches, while product titles cover the long tail of specific part numbers and models.
A Latest News section publishes buyer-focused articles such as what is the best robotic pool cleaner in Australia, whether to repair or replace a robotic pool cleaner, and an introduction to the Maytronics Liberty 400. I track these terms in Semrush, and the content is written in clear, factual language, which helps with Google's AI results too. If you are weighing platforms for a parts store like this, my comparison of Shopify vs WordPress WooCommerce covers the trade-offs.
Continuous maintenance for a WooCommerce parts store
An online store carries more risk than a brochure site, because payments, stock and customer accounts all depend on it. I maintain the Robotics Repair store continuously: WordPress, WooCommerce, Breakdance and plugin updates tested before release, regular backups, security hardening and 24/7 uptime monitoring. The store holds a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents and every page loading clean.
Cart and checkout flows are rechecked after updates, because a broken checkout during pool season costs real sales. The same care goes into other pool businesses I work with, including Dolphin Pools in Melbourne and Sydney Pool Equipment.
If you sell parts or equipment and want a WooCommerce store that is easy to search and reliable to run, get in touch.
