The Challenge

Niche Plumbing is a two-tradie business competing on trust. The Niche Plumbing Byron Bay website had to introduce Adam and Declan as real, qualified people, each holding a Certificate IV in plumbing, gas, backflow prevention, TMV, and gutters and downpipes, rather than a faceless franchise.

They also cover a lot of ground. Their work spans new builds, renovations, maintenance, gas, off-grid plumbing and backflow testing, across residential, commercial and industrial clients. That breadth needed a clear structure so a homeowner after a hot water fix and a builder planning a commercial fit-out could each find their path quickly.

Finally, the site had to rank across the Northern Rivers. Byron Bay is the anchor, but jobs come from Ocean Shores, Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Lennox Head, Tweed Heads and beyond, and every one of those towns has its own local searches to win.

The Solution

I developed the site on WordPress with Breakdance with a people-first approach. The homepage names Adam and Declan, their combined 30 years of experience and their qualifications straight away, and the About page expands on their values: honesty, professionalism, reliability, high-end work and quality, sustainable materials.

The service structure has clear paths for new builds across residential, commercial and industrial, plus renovations, maintenance, gas plumbing, off-grid plumbing, and backflow prevention testing and TMV. A detailed services menu adds septic, filtration, pumps and gas fireplaces.

A photo gallery of completed work and a wall of Google reviews prove the quality, while location pages for towns across the Northern Rivers and into South East Queensland support local search. I look after the site the way they look after pipes: regular maintenance, no leaks and no breaches.

Meet Adam and Declan: the people behind Niche Plumbing

Niche Plumbing was founded by co-directors Adam Short and Declan Bevan, who provide domestic, commercial and maintenance plumbing across the Northern Rivers region of NSW and into South East Queensland. Their pitch is simple: high quality work, custom finishes and the kind of honesty that brings customers back.

Customers in this area often choose a tradie by reputation and personal connection, so the site puts the partners front and centre. Their qualifications are listed in full, their values are spelled out, and the copy invites people to contact Adam and Declan directly about their project.

That human approach is reinforced by reviews that mention them by name, from emergency hot water call-outs to a recessed ceiling shower in a wellness space. The website feels like meeting the team, not browsing a directory.

Clear paths for residential, commercial and industrial plumbing

The homepage presents the core service areas as large, image-led tiles, each with an Explore More link:

  • Plumbing new builds for residential, commercial and industrial projects
  • Plumbing renovations
  • Plumbing maintenance
  • Gas plumbing
  • Off-grid plumbing
  • Backflow prevention testing and TMV

A detailed Plumbing Services menu then goes deeper with new build, renovations, maintenance, septic, filtration, pumps, gas services, gas fireplaces and backflow prevention. This two-level structure lets builders and commercial clients see the scale Niche can handle, while homeowners can jump straight to the specific job they need done. Every service area links back to an easy contact path, with the mobile number visible in the header at all times.

Location pages from Byron Bay to Tweed Heads

The Niche Plumbing Byron Bay website includes dedicated location pages for Byron Bay, Ocean Shores, Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Casuarina, Lennox Head and Tweed Heads. Each one speaks to that town and links into the main services, giving search engines a clear signal about the region Niche serves.

This matters in the Northern Rivers, where many people search with a town name rather than a region, and where a plumber based ten minutes away may not show up for the search unless the site makes the connection explicit.

Combined with strong Google reviews and consistent contact details, these pages form the foundation of local visibility. It is the same approach I set out in my local SEO playbook for Australian tradies, adapted to a coastal region with many small towns.

Breakdance build details: gallery, reviews and fast mobile pages

Breakdance let me create consistent, reusable sections for service tiles, review blocks and location content, so new pages stay on-brand and easy to update. I kept custom CSS minimal and focused on clean typography and generous spacing that suits the high-end work Niche delivers.

A Sample of Our Completed Work gallery shows real project photos, letting the quality of finishes speak for itself. A Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed section displays Google reviews in full, which gives prospective customers genuine, detailed stories rather than one-line ratings.

The whole build is responsive and tuned for phones, because many plumbing enquiries begin with someone standing in a bathroom or on a building site. The phone number is always one tap away. I have used the same people-first approach for Squirtz Plumbing in Sydney.

Ongoing care for a Northern Rivers trade website

A plumbing business gets enquiries at all hours, including emergencies, so the website needs to be dependable. I look after updates to WordPress, Breakdance and plugins, run regular backups, monitor uptime and keep security tight.

The site holds a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents, 24/7 site monitoring and 100% of pages loading clean. That leaves Adam and Declan free to focus on jobs while their website keeps working in the background.

If you are a tradie who wants a website that introduces you properly, covers every service and town you work in, and keeps the enquiries flowing, get in touch and let's talk about your business.
