The Challenge

Squirtz Plumbing has been delivering residential and commercial plumbing across Sydney since 2011, working from a base in Glebe. The Squirtz Plumbing WordPress website has to sell to two very different audiences: homeowners with a job that needs doing, and builders, developers and building managers who need a compliant project partner.

Those audiences want different things. A homeowner with a burst pipe wants fast, reliable help and a clear way to call. A commercial builder wants evidence of large projects, compliance, safety standards and a structured process that fits a construction schedule.

The site needed to speak to both without confusing either, lead with the licensed, insured and compliant credentials and 15+ years of experience, and route each enquiry type to the right conversation, whether that is a residential repair, an ongoing maintenance contract or a major commercial fitout.

The Solution

I built the site on WordPress with Breakdance using dual-audience messaging. A credential bar sits right under the hero: experts in residential and commercial plumbing, end-to-end project delivery, trusted by homeowners, builders and developers, fully licensed, insured and compliant, and over 15 years of excellence.

The menu splits the offer cleanly into Commercial and Residential, with Our Work, Who We Are and Contact. The commercial content covers plumbing maintenance, roof leak repairs, pump solutions, after-hours emergencies, WHS compliance, programmed preventative maintenance, thermostatic mixing valve testing and backflow prevention. The residential page covers small fixes, major repairs and upgrades.

A commercial project profile shows real fitouts with project sizes, and a four-step process explains discovery, site inspection, quoting and installation. Builders can download a booklet outlining the sales and onboarding process.

Structured enquiry paths separate projects from repairs. I keep the site patched, monitored and backed up, with no leaks anywhere.

Sydney plumbing for homeowners, builders and building managers

Squirtz Plumbing serves Greater Sydney with a strong focus on large-scale developments, commercial fitouts and industrial plumbing, while still handling residential work for homeowners in houses and apartments.

On the commercial side, its clients include major leasing agents, building owners, building managers, government departments and commercial builders, and the team looks after ongoing maintenance for office towers, industrial estates, wharf facilities and apartment complexes.

These buyers evaluate suppliers carefully and need confidence in compliance and safety. Homeowners, by contrast, want reliability and speed. The website had to present one consistent, professional brand that still gives each audience its own path and its own reasons to choose Squirtz.

Commercial and residential paths on the Squirtz Plumbing WordPress website

The Squirtz Plumbing WordPress website splits into two clear journeys from the main menu.

  • Commercial: plumbing maintenance, roof leak detection and repairs, pump solutions, after-hours emergency call-outs, WHS compliance, programmed preventative maintenance, thermostatic mixing valve testing and backflow prevention.
  • Commercial services list: blocked drains and CCTV inspections, pipe relining, burst pipes, leak detection, commercial hot water, boilers and circulating pumps, stormwater and mains, and gas work.
  • Residential: small fixes like dripping taps and blocked drains, major repairs such as burst pipes and hot water breakdowns, and upgrades including new installations and bathroom remodels.

Each path ends with a contact prompt suited to its audience, from a quick call for homeowners to a project conversation for builders.

Project profiles, a four-step process and a downloadable booklet

Commercial buyers want proof, so the homepage features a commercial project profile with real fitouts and their sizes, including a 2,700 square metre head office refurbishment, linking through to Our Work for more projects.

A four-step process shows how Squirtz works with builders: discovery and scope, site inspection and planning with senior plumbers, clear itemised quoting and scheduling aligned with the construction programme, then installation and execution by licensed plumbers.

A downloadable booklet sets out the sales and onboarding process for builders, developers and commercial operators in one clear document. It gives decision makers something to share internally and positions Squirtz as an organised, low-risk partner.

Credential bars and local SEO for a Glebe plumber

Credentials are the first thing both audiences look for, so they sit at the top of the homepage: licensed, insured and compliant, end-to-end delivery and 15+ years of experience. A live Now Servicing clock in the header reinforces that the team is active and available.

For search, the commercial and residential pages each target their own phrases, such as commercial plumbing Sydney, backflow prevention testing and residential plumber Glebe. Clear headings, descriptive titles and consistent contact details, including the 1300 number, support local visibility across Greater Sydney.

I explain this approach in more depth in my local SEO playbook for tradies.

Patched, monitored and backed up: maintenance with no leaks

Commercial clients check a supplier's website before signing contracts, and homeowners rely on it in emergencies, so reliability matters. I maintain the Squirtz Plumbing site with WordPress, Breakdance and plugin updates, 24/7 uptime monitoring, security hardening and scheduled backups, plus checks of the contact paths and booklet download.

The results row shows the outcome: a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents and every page loading clean.
