The Challenge

Weatherall Windows manufactures and supplies uPVC windows and doors from Campbellfield in Melbourne's north, serving Melbourne and regional Victoria with more than 50 years of window and door experience behind the business. Double glazing is a considered purchase, and the Weatherall Windows WordPress website had to work as hard as a showroom consultant.

Homeowners compare window suppliers for weeks. They want to understand the difference between awning, casement and tilt and turn windows, whether a lift and slide or stacker door suits their opening, and what double glazed uPVC actually does for energy efficiency and comfort. The site had to educate on all of that, showcase real installs, and capture quote requests once research turns into intent.

All of this while ranking against big-budget competitors in a crowded Melbourne window market, where national brands spend heavily on ads and content.

The Solution

I built the site on WordPress with Breakdance around the two things buyers shop for: windows and doors. Each product type has its own education page, from Awning, Tilt & Turn, Casement, Servery, Sliding and Fixed windows to Entry, Lift and Slide, Sliding, Smart Slide, French, Stacker and Bi Fold doors, so a visitor can go deep on exactly the product they are considering.

An Inspiration menu groups the project Gallery, Before & After work and the Colour Range, giving researchers the visual proof they need. A dedicated page covers Weatherall's role as the official window and door supplier to House 3 on The Block 2023, while the Service page and a Window Replacement Melbourne page speak to homeowners upgrading existing frames. Every path funnels to the Contact page, phone and email through Enquire Now buttons.

I run the maintenance program, covering updates, backups and security, and keep the pages lightweight so the site converts researchers into enquiries.

About Weatherall Windows, uPVC specialists in Campbellfield

Weatherall Windows designs, manufactures and installs uPVC windows and doors from Scammel Street in Campbellfield. They handle every stage of a project, from consultation and design through production to installation, for new homes, renovations and energy efficiency upgrades, and their range also suits commercial work.

Their customers are typically homeowners and builders who have already decided double glazing is worth it and are now choosing who to trust. Many are comparing quotes from several suppliers and reading everything they can find.

That made education the core job of the website. Rather than pushing visitors to a form on the first page, the site helps them understand the options, shows them real installs in the inspiration gallery, and makes the enquiry the natural next step once they know what they want.

Product education pages for double glazed windows and doors

The Windows and Doors menus mirror the way buyers actually shop. Someone renovating a kitchen might want a servery window, someone opening up a living area might need a stacker or lift and slide door, and each of those has its own page.

Every product page explains how the window or door operates, where it works best and why uPVC double glazing matters for insulation, noise and security. The Servery Window page, for example, also covers a stacker-style option for wider openings, and the Smart Slide Door page includes the available colour range.

View All Windows and View All Doors buttons let visitors compare styles side by side. This depth of content is what lets a specialist like Weatherall compete with bigger brands: it answers the detailed questions that generic product pages skip.

Inspiration gallery, Before & After and The Block feature

Windows are a visual purchase, so the Inspiration section is built to show real results. The Gallery collects finished installs, Before & After pages show the transformation an upgrade makes, and the Colour Range helps homeowners picture frames that suit their facade.

The Block page is a strong trust signal. Being the official window and door supplier to House 3 on The Block 2023 tells visitors that Weatherall's products have been chosen for one of Australia's most watched renovation shows, and the page lets them see that work in context.

An Our Partners section highlights quality materials, sustainability, innovation and trust. Together, these pages give a researching homeowner plenty of reasons to shortlist Weatherall before they have spoken to anyone.

Melbourne window SEO and Google AI search visibility

Getting the Weatherall Windows WordPress website ranking for double glazing and uPVC windows in Melbourne means competing with national brands, so the strategy is depth and relevance. Each window and door style targets its own search phrase, the Window Replacement Melbourne page targets replacement intent, and the Blog adds supporting content over time. Keyword research with Semrush guides which terms each page focuses on.

Because many people now get answers from Google's AI Overviews, the product pages are written to answer questions directly and clearly, which makes them easier for AI search to quote. I explain this approach in my guide to Google AI Mode for small businesses.

Clean heading structure, descriptive metadata and fast loading pages round out the technical side, so Google can crawl and understand the full range.

Ongoing maintenance for a lightweight, secure Breakdance build

I look after the Weatherall Windows site as part of my ongoing maintenance program. WordPress core, Breakdance and plugins are updated on a schedule, backups are stored off-site, security hardening is kept current, and uptime is monitored 24/7.

That work shows in the results: 99.9% uptime, zero security incidents and every page loading clean. With a large product catalogue and plenty of imagery, keeping pages lightweight is an ongoing job, not a one-off, and I check performance after every significant update.
