JLH Auto Electrical is the specialist electrical arm of the JLH workshops in Launceston, handling diagnostics, wiring, batteries and the electrical gremlins other mechanics send its way. The JLH Auto Electrical WordPress site had to make that specialty obvious to drivers who often do not know what is wrong with their car.

Auto electrical problems are the ones drivers cannot diagnose themselves. A warning light, a battery that keeps going flat or an intermittent wiring fault leaves people searching symptoms rather than services. The site needed to meet them at that moment and make JLH the obvious call.

It also had to stay clearly connected to the JLH Automotive brand, so customers trust the family name, while standing on its own as the electrical specialist.

The Solution

I built the site on WordPress with a look that mirrors the JLH family, so a customer moving between the two sites recognises the brand immediately. Within that shared identity, the content focuses entirely on electrical work: diagnostics, wiring, batteries and fault finding.

The messaging centres on the problems drivers bring in, such as warning lights, battery drains and wiring faults, and explains why they need a specialist rather than a general mechanic. That approach helps the site appear when someone searches the problem rather than the trade term, and gives Google and AI search tools clear answers to surface. Those findings shaped the headings and copy so the site matches real search behaviour.
