The Challenge

Super Tek Collision Repairs has been fixing crash-damaged vehicles in Thornbury since 1996. Its edge is a combination of modern repair technology and old-school experience, led by a long-serving owner and team. The Supertek Collision WordPress website had to prove that combination rather than simply claim it, because every smash repairer says they do quality work.

The audience is also under pressure. Most visitors arrive after an accident, unsure what to do next, whether they can choose their own repairer and how insurance fits in. The site needed technology and expertise content that reassures a stressed visitor and moves them toward requesting a quote.

Above all, years of excellent workmanship deserved an online presentation that finally matched the quality of the repairs leaving the workshop.

The Solution

I built the site on WordPress with Breakdance around capability pillars. Under the headline "Trusted Collision Repair Specialists", four pillars set the tone: Experienced Technicians, Advanced Repairs, Quality Guaranteed and Genuine Care. The services section then covers collision repairs, chassis straightening, dent and panel repairs, spray painting and refinishing, and vehicle detailing, each with its own page.

A four-step process, Assess, Repair, Refinish and Deliver, shows a nervous customer exactly what will happen to their car. The Trusted Insurance Repairer section highlights Super Tek's status as a Subaru Preferred Repairer and its work with Toyota Insurance and other major insurers, and a Popular Questions block answers the post-accident questions people actually ask.

Make an Enquiry buttons appear at each decision point, so the flow is quote-first throughout. As Developer and Site Manager, I keep it repaired to better-than-factory: maintained, monitored and spotless.

The Supertek Collision WordPress website is built for drivers in Thornbury and the surrounding Melbourne suburbs who need a repairer they can trust after a crash. The About section tells the story simply: high-quality smash repairs since 1996, a highly experienced team, the latest repair technology, and long-term relationships with customers and insurance partners.

Rather than lean on adjectives, the site uses specifics as proof. The Darebin Road address and opening hours sit in the contact panel on every page, Google reviews from real customers appear on the homepage, and three short statements, Advanced Technology, Master Craftsmanship and Trusted Experience, bridge the services and the About section. Each claim is backed by something a visitor can check.

Crash damage is rarely one job, so each repair type gets a dedicated page that explains what is involved:

Insurance and manufacturer trust signals for collision repair customers

After an accident, the first question is often whether the repairer works with the customer's insurer. I gave this its own homepage section, Trusted Insurance Repairer, stating Super Tek's Subaru Preferred Repairer status and its relationships with Toyota Insurance and other major insurers. The copy explains that the team follows strict manufacturer repair standards and works closely with insurers for a smooth repair.

An Our Partners logo strip reinforces those relationships visually. For a customer weighing up the insurer's suggested repairer against a local specialist, this section often settles the decision, so it sits directly before the customer reviews and is followed by another Make an Enquiry button.

Answering post-accident questions for Google and AI search

People in a stressful situation search in full questions, and Google's AI Overviews answer them from pages that respond clearly. The Popular Questions section covers the four that matter most: Super Tek's opening hours, what to do after an accident, whether you have the right to choose your repairer, and how to start the repair process.

These answers serve two purposes. They calm the visitor and point them toward a quote, and they give search engines concise, trustworthy content to surface.
