The Challenge
Selling software to medical practices means the marketing site is judged like the product. The Stat Health WordPress website had to explain a complex clinical and practice management platform clearly, look enterprise-credible, and hold an impeccable uptime and security record, because doctors and practice managers notice.
Stat is built through a collaboration between healthcare professionals and software developers, and it covers a lot: appointment scheduling, Medicare, DVA and private billing, integrated EFTPOS, reporting, eHealth compliance and accounting integration. That depth had to be communicated without burying busy readers in jargon.
The site also serves two audiences at once. Prospective practices need features, partners, proof and a demo path, while existing users need obvious support contact details and remote support access during clinic hours, when every minute counts.
The Solution
I developed the site on WordPress with Breakdance with clear product messaging, support details front and centre, and lightweight pages that load fast in busy clinics.
The homepage leads with optimising your healthcare practice with Australia's trusted medical software, then lists Stat's integrated capabilities in a scannable list. Supporting sections explain the benefits of a paperless practice and streamlined administration, each with a clear call to action.
A Partners menu gives each integration its own page, including SMS Central, MIMS Integrated, eRx Script Exchange, ICPC-2 PLUS, MyHealth1st online appointments and GZD. Testimonials, news and events, conference presentations and a blog build credibility. The 1300 number and support email sit at the very top of every page, with dedicated Support and Remote Support pages and a Request a Demo button. As developer and site manager, I maintain it continuously with hardened security, and it has never suffered a breach.
Stat Health and the Australian medical practices it serves
Stat Health Systems is a Brisbane-based software company in Camp Hill, Queensland, providing a fully integrated clinical and practice management system to healthcare clinics across Australia. The product was created through a collaboration between practising healthcare professionals and developers, which shapes how it is built and sold.
Its audience includes general practices, specialists and allied health clinics. Decision makers are often practice principals and practice managers who care about accuracy, compliance, efficiency and reliable support.
The marketing website had to speak their language. That means plain explanations of billing types, appointments and reporting, an emphasis on reducing paperwork and administration, and visible proof that a real, experienced team stands behind the product. The About page introduces that team, from the board to developers and support consultants.
Explaining a complex practice management platform clearly
The Stat Health WordPress website breaks a complex product into a clear, scannable list on the homepage:
- Appointment scheduling and online appointments
- Billing, including private patient claiming, Medicare Online bulk billing, DVA, Eclipse, and specialist and allied health billing
- Integrated EFTPOS using a Tyro terminal
- Financial, management, clinical and patient reporting
- Compliance with eHealth
- Integration with Xero accounting software
Short supporting sections then explain the bigger benefits: a paperless environment that reduces stress, streamlined administration, and a system designed to ensure best patient outcomes. A New Features link keeps existing and prospective users up to date. This structure lets a practice manager confirm in under a minute that Stat covers what their clinic needs.
Partner integration pages and enterprise credibility
Integrations are a key buying factor for medical software, so each one has its own page under the Partners menu: SMS Central, MIMS Integrated, eRx Script Exchange, ICPC-2 PLUS, MyHealth1st online appointments and GZD. Each integration has room to be explained in context, and the site links out to partners such as MIMS, eRx and SMS Central where relevant.
Credibility is reinforced through dedicated testimonials, news and events, and conference presentations pages, plus a blog. Together they show an active, established company that participates in the wider healthcare technology community.
The design keeps things clean and professional, with consistent typography, clear headings and restrained colour. For a practice comparing systems, the website itself becomes evidence that Stat takes detail and quality seriously.
Support paths for clinics already on Stat
Existing users visit the site when something needs attention, often mid-clinic. I made sure support is never more than a glance away. The header on every page shows the 1300 00 STAT number, the support email and the Camp Hill address.
Dedicated Support and Remote Support pages give users a direct route to help, and trading hours are listed clearly in the footer. A contact form on the homepage invites general enquiries, while a Request a Demo button in the navigation serves prospective practices.
Separating these paths means support requests and sales enquiries both reach the right people quickly. For a healthcare software provider, fast, obvious support access is part of the product experience, and the website reflects that.
Healthcare-grade uptime, security and lightweight pages
Clinics often run on busy networks and shared computers, so I kept pages lightweight, with optimised images and minimal scripts, so they load quickly when a practice manager checks something between patients.
As developer and site manager, I maintain the site continuously: WordPress, Breakdance and plugin updates, backups, uptime monitoring and hardened security, following the process in my WordPress security guide. The site holds a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents, 24/7 site monitoring and 100% of pages loading clean, and it has never suffered a breach.
