Kitchen Search sells kitchen cabinets, countertops, vanities and closets from its flagship showroom in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, and delivers across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. It was founded by a kitchen design professional with nearly two decades in home renovation, and it is built around an Easy 3-Step Process: measure, design and deliver.

The business serves two groups. Homeowners in Philadelphia and across Bucks, Montgomery and Mercer counties want help choosing cabinets and countertops without the confusion of a big box store. Contractors want trade pricing, fast delivery and a supplier who will measure for them and even help them sell. Both groups need to see styles and colors, get a price and talk to a designer quickly.

The Kitchen Search website had to present a large range of cabinet styles and colors clearly, offer several low-pressure ways to start, from a free catalog to a free 3D design, route every lead into the sales team's CRM, and rank across dozens of towns in two states.

The Solution

I built the site on WordPress with the Impreza theme and WPBakery Page Builder. The main menu follows how people shop for cabinets: Kitchen Cabinets, browsed by color, white, off white, grey, brown, cherry, blue, black and green, or by style, Shaker, flat panel, raised panel and European, then Countertops, Closets, Gallery, Company and Blog.

The homepage leads with four free offers, each with its own button: download the kitchen catalog, book a free in-home measurement, get a free 3D kitchen design and order door samples. Below them, trending door styles such as Town White, Luxor White Shaker and Alaska White Shaker, a popular cabinets grid and customer testimonials help visitors narrow their choices, and a FaceTime Your Kitchen Designer option lets them talk to a designer live or schedule a call.

Every form on the site is a Zoho CRM web form that records the lead source and SMS consent, so the sales team sees catalog requests, design requests, contractor sign-ups and referrals in one place. Zoho SalesIQ adds live chat, and a Free Catalog panel can be opened from any page.

Kitchen Search positions itself between design and execution: expert design help and quality cabinetry, delivered to the door. The About page tells the founder's story, a design professional who watched homeowners struggle with overpriced products and poor guidance at big box stores, and explains the Easy 3-Step Process that grew out of it.

The site makes that process concrete. A specialist visits to measure the kitchen, designers create a fully customized 3D design from those measurements, and the approved cabinets, countertops and accessories are delivered ready for installation. Kitchen Search gives visitors several ways to start, matched to how ready they are. Early researchers can download the catalog, buyers comparing finishes can order door samples, and those ready to plan can book a free in-home measurement or a free 3D design. A FaceTime option connects visitors with a designer on a live video call.

Cost questions are handled on the Financing page, which explains special financing for 18 months through the Wells Fargo Home Projects credit card.
