Golden Coast Construction & Restoration rebuilds homes after fire and other disasters, with offices serving Los Angeles, Sacramento and the Greater Seattle area. I built the site on WordPress with WPBakery, organizing 24/7 emergency contact, wildfire resources and 93 city restoration pages.

  • 93 City restoration pages
  • 3 Regional offices
  • 24/7 Emergency line shown
  • 2535+ Projects completed

The Challenge

Golden Coast Construction & Restoration restores homes and businesses after fire and flood losses. It holds a California CSLB contractor license and runs offices in Pasadena, Roseville and Renton, Washington, covering the Los Angeles metro, the Sacramento metro and the Greater Seattle area. Beyond restoration, the company handles remodeling, exterior siding, custom homes and general construction.

Its customers usually arrive on the worst day of their lives. A house fire or wildfire has just happened, an insurance claim needs to be opened and the property may need to be boarded up that night. They need to reach someone immediately, understand what happens next and feel confident that the contractor will work with their insurer rather than against it.

The website had to work as an emergency line first and a reference library second. It needed to make the 24/7 phone line and contact forms impossible to miss, explain a restoration process that runs from day of loss to certificate of completion, support people affected by the Southern California wildfires with practical resources, and be found in dozens of cities across two states.

The Solution

I built the site on WordPress using the Impreza theme and WPBakery Page Builder. The homepage leads with three regional panels, Southern California, Northern California and Seattle, each with its service area, quick links to fire restoration, board-up and contact, and a reminder that help is available 24 hours a day. Below them, the core services are laid out as cards: structure restoration, contents restoration, general construction and custom homes.

The restoration process is explained in eight short steps, from Day of Loss and Estimate through 3D Modeling, Contract, Project Manager, Testing and QA to Completion of Project, so homeowners know what to expect before they call. Dedicated pages cover fire restoration, board-up services and a Southern California wildfire resource hub with a ten-step recovery plan and debris removal guidance.

Gravity Forms runs the forms across the site, from the quick inquiry form on each city page, which asks whether the visitor needs fire and smoke repair, a board-up or a rebuild, to a multi-section online warranty claim with photo uploads and scheduling preferences. A Before Fire & After Restoration gallery shows finished work.

Golden Coast Construction & Restoration: fire recovery in California and Washington

Golden Coast's stated mission is to serve fire and flood disaster victims by restoring their homes to high residential construction standards and guiding them through the claim settlement process. The site reflects that by speaking to people in crisis in plain, calm language. It acknowledges the emotional toll of a fire, then explains that Golden Coast works alongside the insurance provider with careful documentation.

The homepage also gives a sense of scale with figures stated on the site: 2535+ projects completed, 24 years in the industry and 210+ skilled professionals. The footer lists all three offices and the CSLB contractor license, which matters to homeowners who have been told to check credentials before they sign anything.

Fire restoration, board-up and rebuilding services, organized by urgency

The services are arranged in the order people need them. Board-up comes first in an emergency, so it has its own page explaining how openings are secured against weather, theft and further damage, with a 24/7 emergency line and an FAQ on response times. Fire restoration follows, covering mitigation of debris, water and smoke damage, testing for asbestos and lead, and full reconstruction.

For the longer term, the All Services page covers:

  • Structure restoration
  • Remodeling
  • Exterior siding
  • Custom homes
  • General construction

This lets one site serve a family that needs a board-up tonight and a homeowner planning a custom rebuild months later, without either of them wading through content meant for the other.

Wildfire resources and insurance guidance that build trust

For homeowners affected by the Southern California wildfires, the site has a Wildfire Recovery & Resources hub. It sets out ten prioritized recovery steps, starting with personal safety, and explains the Los Angeles County debris removal program and the choice between the government-run cleanup and managing it independently. Content like this helps people before they are ready to hire anyone, which is how trust is built in this industry.

The same approach runs through the rest of the site. A prominent message advises fire victims to speak with a licensed representative before making major decisions, a Schedule a Call button follows it, and a Fire Restoration Knowledge Base on the blog covers topics such as home hardening, rebuild permits and victim assistance programs.

Local SEO with 93 city pages for fire damage restoration

Restoration searches are local and urgent, such as fire damage restoration in Altadena or a board-up near Pasadena. I built a location structure under each office: 39 city pages under Pasadena, 22 under Roseville and 32 under Renton, from Altadena, Malibu and Santa Monica to Folsom, Napa and Stockton and on to Bellevue, Kirkland and Tacoma. All of them are linked from a city list on the homepage, grouped by office.

Each city page opens with a heading such as Fire Damage Restoration in Altadena, CA, a short, reassuring introduction and an inquiry form, followed by insurance claim advocacy, full fire and smoke restoration and 24-hour emergency service. Rank Math handles titles, schema and sitemaps, and the knowledge base supports the city pages with longer guides.

Performance and day-to-day management of the Golden Coast website

A restoration site has to load quickly on a phone held by someone standing outside a damaged house. Smush Pro compresses and serves images efficiently, which matters on a site with before and after photography, and the Impreza and WPBakery build keeps layouts consistent from desktop to mobile. Site Kit connects Google Analytics and Search Console so the team can see which cities and services bring in inquiries.

WPBakery templates make it straightforward to add a new city page or knowledge base article without breaking the design, and Gravity Forms keeps every inquiry and warranty claim in one place. If you run a restoration or construction company and need a site that works in an emergency, get in touch or see more case studies.
