The Challenge

A one-person advisory brand lives entirely on credibility. The AJMG Ltd WordPress website is the online home of Alasdair Grievson, the Independent Flex Office Insider, who has spent three decades in the UK flex office industry and was part of the executive team that founded Argyll and Us&Co.

The site had to present that experience with executive-level polish and read cleanly for London property audiences: occupiers looking for space, landlords weighing up flex models and operators seeking an outside view. Each group needed to see quickly how Alasdair could help them.

It also had to stay online and secure without an in-house IT team. As a sole consultant, Alasdair cannot spend time on plugin updates or fixing a broken page before a client meeting, and his site is often the first thing a prospective client checks.

The Solution

The site is built on WordPress with a restrained, editorial layout that lets the experience speak. The homepage opens with a single clear promise, helping businesses secure smarter spaces, then introduces Alasdair and his bilateral understanding of the flex office sector from both the operator and end-user side.

A Why Flexible Offices section speaks separately to tenants, landlords and operators. The services are listed simply, and a Why Work With Me section sets out his principles: integrity, transparency, expertise and advocacy, including no hidden commissions and no operator bias. Testimonials and a newsletter signup add credibility and an ongoing connection.

The site now carries the Independent Flex Office Insider brand, with pages for services, FAQs, case studies, blogs and contact. I handle all the care remotely, with updates, backups and security monitoring, so a UK consultancy runs on a site that never needs the owner's attention.

Alasdair Grievson and the UK flex office market

Alasdair Grievson brings more than thirty years of flex office experience, having helped found leading brands Argyll and Us&Co before setting up his independent advisory business. As the Independent Flex Office Insider, he helps businesses navigate a fast-moving and largely unregulated market with clear, transparent advice.

His clients fall into three groups. Tenants want flexible space that suits their operations and budget. Landlords want to reduce vacancy, improve property value and diversify their tenant base. Operators want help analysing and improving the day-to-day running of their spaces.

The website needed to reflect a senior, trusted advisor rather than a broker. That meant measured language, plenty of white space and a focus on principles like transparency and fairness, which are exactly what clients are looking for in a market that can feel confusing and opaque.

An editorial layout for tenants, landlords and operators

The AJMG Ltd WordPress website uses a clean, editorial design: strong typography, restrained colour and generous spacing, so it reads like a well-produced business publication rather than a sales brochure.

The homepage follows a clear narrative. It opens with the promise, introduces Alasdair, explains why demand for flexible offices is rising, and then speaks directly to tenants, landlords and operators in three concise blocks. Each audience sees itself quickly, which keeps visitors reading.

Get in Touch buttons sit in the header and after key sections, while the navigation stays short: Home, About, Services, FAQs, Latest and Contact. For London property professionals who are used to polished corporate sites, this calm, confident presentation signals experience and discretion before they read a single credential.

Service pages from consultancy to ESG compliance

The services are presented as a clear, scannable list, each with its own explanation on the Services page:

  • Consultancy for occupiers, operators and investors
  • Flex Office Search Advisory Negotiator
  • Diagnostic Audit of existing workspace
  • Bespoke Strategy and Advice
  • Speaking and Training
  • Renewal Review Service
  • ESG Compliance

The consultancy description shows how Alasdair works in practice: aligning workplace strategy with growth and culture, stripping back headline pricing to expose hidden costs, auditing existing agreements for risk, and negotiating with operators and landlords. That level of specific detail is what separates an experienced advisor from a generic consultant, and it gives prospective clients a clear sense of the value before they make contact.

Newsletter, insights and SEO for a one-person brand

A personal consultancy grows through reputation and ongoing visibility, so the site includes a newsletter signup near the top of the homepage and a Latest section with case studies and blog posts.

These give Alasdair a way to share market insights and stay in touch with prospects between projects, and they build a body of content that search engines can index for flex office and workspace advisory searches. Testimonials from long-standing industry contacts add third-party proof.

Clear, factual pages about who Alasdair is and what he offers also help AI search tools describe his business accurately. I cover that approach in my generative engine optimization guide, and it matters for consultants whose name is their brand. Keyword research in Semrush helps guide the topics worth covering.

Remote maintenance from the Philippines to the UK

I maintain the site from Zambales in the Philippines, which means updates, backups and security checks can run while the UK sleeps and the site is ready for business each morning in London. My guide to hiring a web developer from the Philippines explains how this kind of arrangement works in practice.

The site holds a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents, 24/7 site monitoring and 100% of pages loading clean. Alasdair never needs to think about his website, which is exactly the point.

If you are a consultant or advisor who needs a polished, low-maintenance website looked after by someone who handles everything remotely, get in touch wherever you are based.
