The Challenge

ABC Diesels is a Sydney truck spare parts supplier with more than 40 years of experience, selling new and used parts, imported engines and components salvaged from wrecked trucks, buses, vans and utes, and shipping across NSW and nationwide. The ABC Diesels WooCommerce store had to make that huge, constantly changing inventory easy to browse.

Selling truck parts online means a catalogue that has to stay accurate and a buying process that has to just work. Customers are fleet operators, mechanics and owner-drivers who know exactly which part they need and want to confirm availability quickly, often for a truck that is off the road and costing them money.

Any downtime or compromised page would mean lost revenue and lost trust with customers who buy on repeat. The store had to be organised by part type and brand, load reliably, and keep enquiries and orders flowing without surprises.

The Solution

I built the store on WordPress with Divi and WooCommerce and structured the parts catalogue so buyers find what they need fast. The navigation keeps things simple, Home, About, Our Products and Contact, with a dedicated Leyland Parts page for customers working on older trucks.

The Our Products page groups parts by component, including alternators, replacement diesel engines, engine parts such as heads, cranks, blocks, rods and turbos, gearboxes, manifolds, diffs and axles, spare wheels, starter motors, and whole cabins, doors and truck bodies. View Items buttons lead into each category.

Brand and model coverage is listed clearly for Isuzu, Hino, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota and Daihatsu, and shipping options by courier, post, road freight and airfreight are explained. Click-to-call and email links sit in the header and footer. I keep the whole stack maintained with updates, backups and security scans: no hacks, no surprise outages, and orders keep flowing.

About ABC Diesels, Sydney truck parts specialists

ABC Diesels has supplied truck parts for more than 40 years. The business stocks new and used parts, imports engines and engine parts, and dismantles wrecked local trucks, buses, vans and utes to recover quality used components such as differentials, axles and cabins.

Its customers include fleet operators, transport companies, mechanics, wreckers and owner-drivers across New South Wales and the rest of Australia. Many buy on repeat, returning whenever another truck in the fleet needs a part.

The website needed to reflect that depth of experience while making the inventory practical to explore. The About page tells the business's story, and the product pages focus on what buyers care about most: whether ABC Diesels has the part for their make and model, and how quickly it can be shipped.

Structuring a truck parts catalogue by component and brand

Truck parts buyers think in two ways: what part they need, and what truck it is for. The catalogue is structured to support both.

By component, parts are grouped into clear categories such as engines and engine parts, gearboxes, diffs and axles, alternators, starter motors, manifolds, spare wheels and cabins. By brand, model lists show coverage for Isuzu, including the NKR and FRR, Hino, including the Dutro and Ranger, plus Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, including the Hilux and Landcruiser, and Daihatsu.

A separate Leyland Parts page serves customers maintaining older vehicles, a niche that many suppliers no longer cover. This dual structure means a mechanic can browse by part type while a fleet manager can confirm brand coverage, and both reach the right products in a few clicks.

WooCommerce product listings, enquiries and nationwide shipping

WooCommerce powers the product listings, giving ABC Diesels a structured way to manage products and categories from the WordPress dashboard. View Items buttons on the Our Products page lead into each category, and Divi's flexible layouts keep listings clean and easy to scan on any device.

Because many truck parts are unique or used, some buyers want to confirm fitment before committing. The site makes that easy with click-to-call phone links, an email address and a Contact page, all visible throughout.

Shipping is a big part of the value. The site explains that parts are sent across NSW and Australia-wide by courier, post, road freight or airfreight, which reassures interstate buyers that ABC Diesels can get heavy components to them.

Technical SEO for truck parts searches in NSW and beyond

Truck parts are searched by exact names and models, so the ABC Diesels WooCommerce store uses the terms buyers type, such as Isuzu NKR parts, Hino Ranger gearbox or used truck diffs. Keyword research with Semrush guides those terms, and category pages are written so each can rank for its own group of searches.

Technical SEO keeps the foundations sound: clean heading structure, descriptive metadata, logical internal linking between categories, and fast-loading pages that work well on mobile.

End-to-end WooCommerce maintenance for ABC Diesels

I maintain the ABC Diesels store end to end. WordPress core, Divi, WooCommerce and plugins are updated regularly, backups run on schedule, security scans check for problems, and uptime is monitored 24/7. Updates are tested before going live, so product listings and contact paths keep working.

The results: 99.9% uptime, zero security incidents and every page loading clean.
