## The challenge

Show Water sells to a niche audience: production managers, directors, stage crews and special FX supervisors who need bespoke water rigs on tight shoot schedules. The Showwater WordPress website had to explain built-for-purpose temporary water infrastructure credibly to industry professionals who have no time for generic marketing.

The services are unusual. Custom underwater tanks, modular film pools, water heating, portable filtration plant rooms, water effects and consulting are not things most people search for every day, and a generic plumbing tone would undersell the expertise involved.

Speed was the other challenge. When a production is on the clock, a location manager needs to understand capability, see proof on comparable shows and reach the team immediately, whether they are in Sydney or Melbourne. This was one of the more unusual WordPress and Breakdance builds in my care.

## The solution

I built the site on WordPress with Breakdance and framed every service around production use cases rather than plumbing. The homepage speaks directly to its audience, bringing concepts to life for TV and film stage crews, directors, production managers and special FX teams, and then walks through each capability with a short, practical description.

A Services menu gives each offering its own page: built-for-purpose temporary water infrastructure, water heating, filtration plant rooms, water effects and consulting. A Case Studies page lists major productions with the scale of water delivered, and a gallery shows the rigs on set.

Contact details for both the Castle Hill and Kew offices sit in the footer of every page, alongside Contact Us and Get a Quote buttons. As developer and site manager, I maintain the site continuously with updates, security and backups, so it is ready whenever a studio comes looking.

## Show Water: temporary water infrastructure for film and television

Show Water designs and delivers water infrastructure for film and television productions across Australia. Their work ranges from custom underwater tanks and modular film pools to heating systems that keep water at the right temperature for cast comfort, filtration that keeps it clear for the camera, and water effects built to a director's vision.

Their clients work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Production managers care about schedules and budgets, FX supervisors care about technical feasibility, and everyone cares about safety.

The website had to show it understands that world. The copy talks about on-set needs, camera-ready results and working seamlessly with directors and crews, rather than pipe sizes or pump specs. That framing tells industry visitors immediately that Show Water speaks their language.

## Service pages written for production managers and FX supervisors

Each capability has its own page and homepage block:

- Built for purpose temporary water infrastructure: custom underwater tanks and modular film pools
- Temperature control: water heating for tanks and pools in any conditions
- Portable plant rooms: filtration that keeps water crystal clear and compliant for the whole shoot
- Water effects: safe, sustainable effects tailored to the creative vision
- Consultation: support from initial concept and technical planning to on-site logistics

Every block ends with a Learn More link, and the descriptions stay short and specific. This structure lets a busy producer scan the full offer in seconds, then go deeper only where needed. It also gives search engines clear, separate pages for each specialised service, which helps the site surface for niche production searches.

## Case studies that prove capability on major productions

In the screen industry, credits matter. The Case Studies page lists productions Show Water has supported, with the client and the scale of the job:

- Australian Ninja Warrior, with 24 free-standing pools over six weeks
- Frogger, with two 1.2 million litre pools for a three-month shoot
- Quiz with Balls at Docklands Studios
- The Survivors for Netflix
- A cinema release for Sony Pictures using three tanks

Presenting volumes and durations alongside each production gives producers an instant sense of what Show Water can handle. A Who We've Worked With logo section reinforces the point on the homepage and About page, and a gallery adds visual proof of rigs on set.

## Fast contact for productions on the clock

When a production needs water infrastructure, they rarely have weeks to shop around. The site makes the next step obvious with Contact Us and Get a Quote buttons in every key section and a closing call to action, Let's Discuss Your Project, that invites enquiries at any stage, from early concept to deep production planning.

The footer on every page lists two phone numbers, an email address and both office locations, Castle Hill in Sydney and Kew in Melbourne, so crews in either city know they have local support.

I kept the contact path short, with no unnecessary steps between interest and conversation. For a business where one enquiry can mean a major production contract, removing friction is worth more than any design flourish.

## Lightweight build, SEO and continuous maintenance

The Showwater WordPress website is deliberately lightweight, with optimised imagery and minimal scripts so pages load quickly on a phone between takes. Titles and headings target the language producers actually use, water management for film and television, underwater tanks and film pools, and clear factual content helps Google and AI search tools understand the offer, as I explain in my post on [Google AI Mode for small businesses](https://amvprosox.com/blog/google-ai-mode-seo-small-business-2026).

As developer and site manager, I handle updates, security and backups. The result is a 99.9% uptime record, zero security incidents, 24/7 site monitoring and 100% of pages loading clean.
